Born in Seoul, Korea, Jenny Shin has built her name from her years as a young golfer in America where, at a mere age of 10, she won the Los Angeles City Championship. She continued on to play in the USGA golf championships at the age of 13.
Jenny remains to surpass expectations, she became the second youngest golfer in history to win the biggest event for junior golfers in the states, the US Girl’s Junior championship. Throughout 2008 and 2009 she played very well earning her spot on the AJGA All American First team squad in 2009 for the third straight time.
In 2010, Shin turned pro and joined the Futures Tour, making 7 top tens during the season and making improvements through the year ultimately winning her first event as a pro, the International at Concord, in July of that year. Jenny works methodically and tirelessly to push herself to new levels each day however with a lot of laughter and love. This is possibly one of the strongest reasons to her success.
